Privacy Policy

Joshua8.AI runs a simple, static website. We use analytics to understand how the site is used, and beyond that we collect only the information you choose to send us. We don't sell your data or run ads on this site. This policy explains exactly what is collected, and your rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR.

Who We Are (Data Controller)

Joshua8.AI, with offices in McLean, VA, USA, is the controller of the personal data described below. Contact: [email protected].

What We Collect

This site has no contact forms, no newsletter signup, and no advertising. Fonts are served from our own domain. It does use cookies and scripts for analytics and security, described below.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings or use a content blocker. The site works fully without these cookies.

How We Use It and Our Legal Basis

We do not sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for automated decision-making.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers that help us operate: our website host and analytics provider (Cloudflare), Google (for Google Analytics, as described above), and our email provider, or where required by law.

International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and Cloudflare, Google, and our email provider process data in the US. If you contact us or visit from the EU, UK, or elsewhere, your data may be transferred to the US. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (for example, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses offered by those providers).

How Long We Keep It

We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting relationship, then delete it. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting on our Google Analytics account, and cookie lifetimes are listed above. Server logs and Cloudflare analytics data are retained for a limited period by Cloudflare for security, operational, and reporting purposes.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. Analytics data is tied to a random browser identifier rather than your name, so you can also object to it at any time by deleting or blocking the cookies listed above.

If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Changes

If we add features that collect more data, such as a contact form, or change the analytics tools we use, we'll update this policy before or when we do.
